Education in the United States must improve to meet our needs in a rapidly changing global economy.  The Center for Reform of School Systems (CRSS) understands this need and has been working with school districts across the country for over a decade.

CRSS has a long history of training district governance teams to focus on improving student achievement.  In addition, the Center offers expertise, metric development, and objective analysis of district operations and instructional programs.

School districts are going to need to get more productivity with less funding for a very long time.  Operational and instructional effectiveness are critical to creating high-performing school districts.

While our country is rightfully focused on reforming education in our schools, the missing link in this strategy is school boards.  Boards hold the important power in school districts.  They hire and fire the superintendent.  They control the money.  And, they control the policies that direct or impede reform.

School districts are the most effective places to direct the reform of education at scale.  The Center for Reform of School Systems creates effective school board-superintendent teams and strong instructional and operational systems to transform education for hundreds of thousands of children.
